returnJDFTickets Folder

Hi,

Is it possible to define the permanence time of the jdf files in the returnJDFTickets folder and their maximum number?

Re: returnJDFTickets Folder

Unfortunately no.  This is a system setting in the database which I believe is set to 48 hours after the job is completed on the DFE.  After these 48 hours the files will automatically be removed by the clean-up daemon on the DFE.

Also, I don't recommend deleting any files from this folder or any other folders inside the content_storage folder on the DFE.  These are managed internally and can cause database synchronization issues if they are expected to be there and aren't.

I don't want to delete anything. I have the opposite problem:

at a client of mine in the returnJDFTickets Folder folder only 1 or 2 files appear at a time. It seems strange to me, I usually see dozens and dozens of files. what can it be?

Re: returnJDFTickets Folder

Perhaps they just have a lower volume of jobs and only complete a few jobs within a 48 hour window?

If jobs are completing printing and aren't creating files in the ReturnJDFTickets folder then have them check the system settings on their DFE I believe there is a setting in there called "track re-prints" or similar which can prevent jobs from entering a completed state after printing unless they are manually set to complete in the GUI.
