For E.U. customers: https://eu.daas.api.hp.com
The Incident REST API provides programmatic access to many HP Techpulse Incident Integration functions via an HTTP-based RESTful API. It supports the OAuth2 protocol to authenticate and authorize calls to the REST API. Using APIs for Incident Management, you can create, read, update, and delete incidents as well as access specialized APIs such as Comments, Subscription and Resource APIs. Proactive Insights monitors and detects failed or about to fail conditions. If any action is required, Proactive Insights will automatically generate an incident (i.e. system generated incidents). Additionally, REST APIs could be used to create incidents manually in the system (i.e. user generated incidents). Operations are available for:
- Creating, updating and retrieving incidents
- Posting and retrieving comments for an incident
- Incident Subscription Settings - Ability to turn on/off an incident
- Incident resources viz. status, priority and assignees
The following are various states for an incident:
- NEW
- INVESTIGATING
- FIX_IN_PROGRESS
- FIXED
- DISMISSED
The following are various priorities for an incident:
- NOT_ASSIGNED
- CRITICAL
- HIGH
- MEDIUM
- LOW
The incident resources could be retrieved in following languages, as supported in HP TechPulse:
